Banish that bloated feeling with the superfood duo of beets and ginger. The ripe-red blend combines fiber-rich beets and berries with sweet pineapple to balance out the flavors. If you're wondering what to do if you don't own a high speed blender, let me beat you to the answer: Boil or microwave the raw beets first or you can buy a brand that are already cooked and ready to eat (or blend)!

  • Blender


  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1 small beet cubed or 1 cup frozen
  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1 cup baby spinach or kale
  • 3/4 cup plain low-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger or 2 tsp ground ginger


  • In a blender, combine all the ingredients and blend until the desired consistency is achieved. Add more liquid as needed. Serve immediately.
