Sweets Round Up: my Top Picks for that Sweet Tooth
Like most humans, I have a sweet tooth 🦷. I need some form of chocolate every single day. But to satisfy my daily habit, I reach for one of these goodies in my treats toolbox. When you find some healthier options that actually contain real nutritious ingredients, your body will know it mentally and physically and you won’t feel like you need to eat the whole bag or box. So without further ado, I share with you my secret sweet weapons because week 11 of Q calls for a kick-ass GetNaked dessert round-up.

First up is my #1. @traderjoes 73% chocolate wedges. 1-2 wedges seals the deal. These little wedges have over a decade of client approval.
The Coconut Cult (@thecoconutcult) chocolate mousse coconut yogurt is O-M-G good. You would never know that 2 spoonfuls of this vegan yogurt—except tastes like a decadent mousse with 0 grams of added sugar—is chock full of probiotics. I’m talking 25 billion per serving!
Rule Breaker Snacks cookies (@rulebreakersnacks) are a new healthier cookie find! Made with chickpeas and no nuts (gluten free, vegan and allergy friendly), these soft cookies come in flavors like brownie and birthday cake. Plus, if they’re kid approved by my picky eaters, they will be for yours too.
Nugo Fiber (@nugofiber) D’lish bars provide half your day’s worth of natural fiber but taste like a chewy muffin bar. My fav flavors are cinnamon raisin and brownie. I have been a big fan for a long time now. I even like to break one up into a plain Greek yogurt for a sweet and sour combo that is awesome. High fiber carbs from the bar plus protein from the yogurt is perfecto for a balanced snack anytime.

Siggi’s Yogurts (@siggisdairy) are always stocked in my fridge. I haven’t met a flavor I didn’t like. One of these does the trick and it packs a nice dose of protein to keep your blood sugar stable. With flavors like coconut, chocolate, vanilla and berry, these will always be a top pick. Siggi’s sides with creamy almond butter are also amazing. The yogurt and nut butter combo is really creamy and dreamy. Hey, that rhymes! They also have new plant-based yogurts for those of you who can’t tolerate or don’t include dairy in your diet.
Yes Bars (@theyesbar) are one of my newer bar finds. They taste like a cookie but the ingredients are just nuts and seeds and everything else you can easily pronounce. They’re also vegan and gluten free. Plus, the dad and son owners could not be nicer which is a huge bonus when it comes to me having some serious love for a product.
Perfect Bars now make smaller, more calorie-controlled kid bars but they’re just a mini version of the regular ones (@perfectkids.snacks) and are just perfect ;). If you love️ peanut butter like I do, well then you will freak out over how delicious these taste. They sneak some veggie powders in these bars so that’s not too shabby either. These are usually found near the dairy fridge at the market so check there. Store them at home in the fridge but they won’t go back if you leave them out for a while.
Rx Bar (@rxbar) vanilla almond butter is just crack. Eat it right out the packet or jar or spread it on an apple or a banana for a more complete snack and it’s just SO SO good.
Tribe Hummus (@tribehummus) brownie hummus sounds strange but it’s delish. It really does taste like a chocolate dip but it’s made from chickpeas for way more nutrition bang for your buck! Eat it on a spoon or cut up some fruit and go to town like you would with your veggies and regular hummus.
Daily Harvest (@dailyharvest) bites are awesome. They contain crazy superfood ingredients and one bite is an excellent sweet tooth satisfier. This company is by delivery only and makes all kinds of vegan and mostly organic frozen smoothies, sides, soups and flatbreads. I am a HUGE fan of keeping a stock of these meals and snacks in your freezer so you always have healthy veggie-packed options in a pinch. You can check this company out here and use code HWBURAK for a discount.
And don’t forget my Tate’s Chocolate Chip Cookies (@tatesbakeshop)! Although they are straight up cookies, they are always a staple in my pantry. One or two cookies does the job with that chocolate and crunch factor. Perfection!
