Life Will Always Throw Curveballs, Pandemic or Not. Embrace the Chaos, Lose the Excuses, and Start Now in 2020

I’ll just wait until tomorrow. Or Monday. Or after the holidays. Or after my birthday. Or 2021.
Think back to before the pandemic. When life was “normal”. What was holding you back then? What circumstances of life were you using to postpone you getting to a better place in your mind, body and health? What was delaying your progress then? Because here’s the thing. Life will not stop interrupting you if you let it. It’s life. Once it stops, well that’s it. Embrace the chaos and use it to fuel the fire.
Whether it’s pre or post 2020, it doesn’t matter. There will always be something you think (keyword: think) is holding you back or causing you to put your foot on the break. You are the only one who can make it happen. When you want to improve anything in your life, like really want it and are committed to a process, especially when it comes to your health, you have to keep your foot on the gas through BOTH the tough times and the easier times. When things start to improve, human nature gives our minds the green light to pull back a little and that’s where the self-sabotage may start to kick in. Ya know, oh I lost 5 pounds so I can reward myself with a “cheat meal” because I deserve it. Your mind can be your worst enemy or your BFF.
When people ask me, what’s your program, what’s your process? Here’s my short answer. It’s showing you what you already have and how to unlock it. Instead of letting your own mind steer you in the same cycle you’ve been in over and over, unlock its great potential to be your cheerleader, your guiding light, essentially your BFF. It’s already there we just do the work and start to turn the key to open it up and bring you the goodness. Once that happens, then light bulbs go off all day
and you start to change without focusing on diets or numbers or sizes. The puzzle pieces start to fit. But wait I thought it’s all about food? The truth is, the solution could not be farther than the actual food you’re eating most of the time.
So take the end of 2020 and not the beginning of 2021 (so yes right now!) and tell me what little changes you can begin to work on. That’s how it has to start. Lots of love!
