Just Shake It Up Chia Overnight Oats
If overnight oats and chia pudding had a delicious little breakfast baby, this would be it. These oat jars are creamy, satisfying, packed with fiber and protein, and take about five minutes to throw together — because realistic breakfasts should work for actual real life.
Made with ingredients you probably already have hanging out in your fridge and pantry, this recipe becomes thick, cozy, and pudding-like overnight in the fridge. The chia seeds help create that creamy texture while adding healthy fats and fiber, and the oats make it hearty enough to actually keep you full through the morning chaos.
I love this recipe because it’s endlessly customizable and perfect for meal prep. Add berries, nut butter, bananas, chocolate chips, nuts, or whatever toppings make you happy. And if dairy isn’t your thing, simply swap in your favorite plant-based yogurt and milk to make it completely dairy free.
One of my favorite little busy-mom hacks is saving glass jars from sauces, jams, or anything else to use for recipes like this. They make the perfect grab-and-go containers for easy breakfasts and snacks, plus they somehow make you feel a little more organized than you actually are.
The best part? You literally shake everything up in a jar, stick it in the fridge, and wake up feeling like someone magically made breakfast for you overnight. Which, honestly, is the kind of support busy moms deserve.
